This is a raw specimen of Arsenopyrite with hedenbergite and possibly some Ilvaite. It is from the Huanggang Mine, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, China.
Even though it may not have the physical Ilvaite crystals, it carries the same energies as if all three minerals are present!

Facts and Lore: The formula for Ilvaite is CaFe3+Fe2+2(Si2O7)O(OH). It was named for the original identification locality of Ilva Island now Elba Island. The formula for Hedenburgite is CaFe2+Si2O6. It is a green mineral. So when it is included or growing on another mineral, it is that kind of olive colored luster. The formula for Arsenopyrite is FeAsS. It can be a silver/gray mineral. When growing on another mineral it can be a black feathery/lumpy kind of growth.

Sizing details
All my pocket rockets are sorted by their measurements. The longest side is the measurement that they are sorted by. They could be very thin in both thickness and width, but make the measurement in length only. All pictures are from current lot so it will hopefully give you an idea of the dimensional comparisons for your piece.
I try to add approximate measurements to all items. If there is something I have forgotten or is unclear, please contact me for clarification!
All rocks are a bit smaller than you think they are going to be! Even I order stones online and look at them as I get them from the box and have the same thought. I always get out a ruler when I am reading the measurements on a stone to help me know what to expect.
Wholesale availability
