Tumbled and polished pieces from Brazil. These pieces have green and pink tourmaline with kunzite and lepidolite. I have the energies of each crystal and the combination below.

Pieces A,B, and D are all X-large and Piece C is Large. Each piece weighs between 40-47 grams.

Facts and Lore: This has been written about since the 1400's. It is known as Schorl. It received this name for the town in Germany that the mine was originally found nearby. Tourmaline is named from Sri Lanka for the term Gemstone. With its electro-static properties, it became popular with Dutch sailors to draw ash from their pipes.

The chemical makeup is LiAlSi2O6. It is a lithium bearing mineral. Kunzite was named after G.F. Kunz in 1902. This is the pink variety of Spodumene. The green variety is known as Hiddenite.

The formula for Lepidolite is generally accepted to be K(Li,Al,Rb)2(Al,Si)4O10(F,OH)2. It is no longer a mineral but called a “series”. Lepidolite was named in 1792 using the Greek for scale stone. It comes in these colors: Pink, purple, rose-red, violet-gray, yellowish, white, colorless.

These are stones that are small for pocket rocks and meditation. It is a random pull within the lot for your piece. All my pocket rocks are sorted by their measurements. The longest side is the measurement that they are sorted by. They could be very thin in both thickness and width making the measurement in length only. All pictures are from the current lot so it will hopefully give you an idea of the dimensional comparisons for your piece.

All rocks are a bit smaller than you think they are going to be! Even I order stones online and look at them as I get them from the box and have the same thought. I always get out a ruler when I am reading the measurements on a stone to help me know what to expect.

Our Sizing Guide For Pocket Stones

XSmall means the largest side is smaller than ¼ inch. These are tiny - TINY - babies!!!
Small means the largest side measures less than ½ inch. Imagine smaller than the fingernail on your pinkie finger.
Smaller Mediums are just over ½ inch on the longest side. Again, these are most often just bigger than the fingernail on your pinkie!
Medium means the largest side measures less than 1 inch but can be as small as ½ inch.
Large means the largest side measures less than 1 ½ inch but the piece can be just a smidge over 1 inch.
XLarge means the largest side measures over 1 ½ inch.
