Okay. Bolivianite. It seems that there are two different types. There is the ametrine type. Not what we have here. And then there is the "possible" stichtite and serpentine mix. Yes! That is what we have!!

Healing Energies: Serpentine is a calming stone. It moves through the body releasing stress. I just love holding serpentine as it is so soothing. A great stone to connect to the history of the Earth. Now mix that with stichtite. Stichtite helps you to open your crown to connect more easily to the higher realms. A stone to soften your heart and allow you to hear those supporting you and helping you to find your best you. This is a great stone for meditation. It will help you connect with the higher realms while calming your physical and mental bodies to be able to hear.

Facts and Lore: These seem to be from a find opening in 2018. The formula for serpentine is quite convoluted: D3[Si2O5](OH)4 D= Mg, Fe, Ni, Mn, Al, Zn. This is due to it being a grouping and not a specific mineral. It was named in 1564 after a Latin root meaning snake. The formula for stichtite is Mg6Cr3+2(OH)16[CO3] · 4H2O. It is named after Robert Carl Sticht.

These are stones that are small for pocket rocks and meditation. It is a random pull within the lot for your piece. All my pocket rocks are sorted by their measurements. The longest side is the measurement that they are sorted by. They could be very thin in both thickness and width making the measurement in length only. All pictures are from the current lot so it will hopefully give you an idea of the dimensional comparisons for your piece.

All rocks are a bit smaller than you think they are going to be! Even I order stones online and look at them as I get them from the box and have the same thought. I always get out a ruler when I am reading the measurements on a stone to help me know what to expect.

Our Sizing Guide For Pocket Stones

XSmall means the largest side is smaller than ¼ inch. These are tiny - TINY - babies!!!
Small means the largest side measures less than ½ inch. Imagine smaller than the fingernail on your pinkie finger.
Smaller Mediums are just over ½ inch on the longest side. Again, these are most often just bigger than the fingernail on your pinkie!
Medium means the largest side measures less than 1 inch but can be as small as ½ inch.
Large means the largest side measures less than 1 ½ inch but the piece can be just a smidge over 1 inch.
XLarge means the largest side measures over 1 ½ inch.
